Harry Potter

We've started our Harry Potter-a-thon to get ready for the new movie. So far, in the last 2 nights, we've watched the first and second movies and only have 3 more to go. I haven't watched them in a while so it's been fun to see them again. We are definitely anxious to see the new movie and the countdown is on!!!
This is, once again, an older picture taken in our house in Texas (my camera is broken and I haven't been able to take any recent pictures. Bummer!). I love this picture, though. My kids have been wearing these same costumes the last couple of days while playing Harry Potter and using unsharpened pencils for wands. Ben keeps saying "Dooby dooby doo - bop you on the head", which is his "spell". Amazingly enough, after he says his spell, everyone gets bopped on the head with his wand. It really works! He must be a muggle-born wizard!

  1. Aww, that's so cute about Ben! We're excited about the movie, too. I have a countdown generator on my bog. Last I looked, 02 days, 10 hours, 55 minutes, 35 seconds until it's in theaters!
That same day, my Mom finds out what the baby is, so it will be a REALLY great day.

I miss you guys. Tell Bishop we had BYC today with Bishop Richardson, the first not directed by our Bishop Seegmiller. :( I missed watching him twirl his pen around and laughing when he picked whoever was sitting in the middle seat to say the opening prayer like always. haha.
    Love you! Love, Laurabug

  4. So have you seen the movie?? And what did you all think?? Some say there's a bit too much making out in the hallways, a fact that we must have missed by reading the book. Dad and I saw it with Enoch and Tasha last night and thought the special effects were amazing. Mom S.

  5. Hey, thanks for the comments on my blog. Yes, that was a missionary in our ward. Elder BESLER. Isn't he the cutest thing? Go ahead and admit it. I won't tell Bishop! :)
