I discovered this new book store the other that is similar to 75% Off Books in Dallas only bigger and better! It is called The Gallery Bookstore and they had tons of great books $4.99 or less, most were $1.99. I don't think Adam was as thrilled as I was since he knows of my love affair with books, but I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! Anyone who knows me well knows how much I LOVE to read a good book! A friend of mine here in Nashville told me about a couple of series that I hadn't heard of before and The Gallery had all the books in both series for only $15 total. You gotta love it! The first one is the Shakespeare Stealer series - there are 3 books in the series - and so far I am really enjoying the first book.
The other series is called the Ranger's Apprentice. I haven't started reading them yet, but I'm looking forward to tackling them as well. The only unfortunate thing is that my list of books to read is starting to look as long as my list of projects to be accomplished! If only there was more time in the day and laundry, dishes, and dust didn't exist!!
Amen to that last sentence. :-) Are you on Goodreads? My Adam just read the first Ranger's Apprentice and enjoyed it. Hope you guys are doing well. I've been lousy at keeping in touch (and a lot of other things this summer).

ReplyDeleteWe have a great book store here in Tooele called the purple cow. They were telling me the other day about the the "Rangers Apprentice". I also just got a book called "The Book thief" I have heard good things about. I just have not had time to start reading yet. In fact Mike is reading it right now since I kept leaving it sitting around. I am on Good reads too.
